HJMT’S VICE-PRESIDENT OF CLIENT SERVICES JOINS LITERACY NASSAU BOARD

Westbury, NY June 10, 2009 – HJMT’s Vice President of Client Services, Lori Alexy was recently appointed to the Literacy Nassau Board of Directors. Ms. Alexy’s three-year term will begin July 1st.

“I am looking forward to working with Literacy Nassau carrying out their mission and showing the community what an asset they are,” said Ms. Alexy. “The organization is so powerful and reaches so many, I am thrilled to have such an active role in helping to improve adult literacy skills.”

Literacy Nassau is a learner-centered literacy service. Each year, since 1968, Literacy Nassau has provided services for hundreds of Nassau adults who are functionally illiterate, assisting them, their families – and hopefully future generations – toward self-sufficiency and personal success.

Ms. Alexy oversees all four departments at HJMT COMMUNICATIONS, LLC and works very closely with the entire staff. She also helps to ensure client satisfaction. She has been with the firm since July 2005. Ms. Alexy comes to HJMT COMMUNICATIONS, LLC with experience in radio and event planning. Prior to HJMT, she worked at WOR 710 AM in the News Department. She also worked for a local Pennsylvania radio station, WVYC, where she supervised 15 employees and managed all administrative duties at the station. Ms. Alexy graduated from York College of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication and Public Relations.
