Sr. VP Named Distinguished Recent Grad

Kristie Galvani, Senior Vice President of HJMT COMMUNICATIONS, LLC (HJMT), will receive the York College of Pennsylvania 2009 Distinguished Recent Graduate Award this May. The Distinguished Recent Graduate Award recognizes York College of Pennsylvania alumni who have graduated within the past ten years for significant career achievement and/or community service.

“There is such a large number of recent graduates deserving of this award and I am humbled to receive it.” said Ms. Galvani. “The award is a direct reflection of how York College of Pennsylvania provides all their graduates with the education and experience they need to be successful.”

At HJMT Ms. Galvani handles new business development and firm growth. She also helps to oversee the firm’s four divisions and works closely with the senior staff. Ms. Galvani received her Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communications, Public Relations and Advertising from York College of Pennsylvania. She has been with HJMT since 2001. Prior to HJMT she worked at WCBS-TV in station services. She was responsible for public affairs and community affairs. In addition, she worked at WVYC radio as the underwriting director and traffic director. She was also an on-air personality. Ms. Galvani has been quoted as an expert in many local publications and recently had an article on event planning published in the New York Enterprise Report. In 2006 she was named a 40 under 40 by Long Island Business News.
